5.2-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes South of Fiji
Suva, January 25 (QNA) - An earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale struck south of Fiji in the South Pacific Ocean on Sunday.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 509.6 km, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
Fiji lies along the Pacific Ring of Fire, a seismically active region known for frequent and sometimes powerful earthquakes. (QNA)
