Damascus, August 24 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces made an incursion into the village of Maariya in western Daraa countryside in southern Syria on Monday.
According to local sources, the Israeli military force comprised six vehicles and infantry personnel, who deployed near a neighborhood adjacent to the main road amid intensive drone activity over the area. The forces launched a raid and search operation in the area before withdrawing toward the Al Jazeera military post.
Damascus has repeatedly condemned the Israeli incursions into southern Syria and called on the international community to take decisive action to halt them and compel Israel to withdraw fully from Syrian territory, in accordance with the 1974 Disengagement Agreement. (QNA)
