Manchester City Sign Jeremy Doku from Rennes

London, August 24 (QNA) - Manchester City announced today, Thursday, the signing of Belgian winger Jeremy Doku from Rennes on a five-year contract.

The parties did not disclose the financial details, but the media reported that the value of the deal would amount to 55.4 million UK pounds ($ 70.72 million).

The 21-year-old joined Rennes in October 2020 from Anderlecht, Belgium, and has played more than 90 matches for the French team in all competitions, scoring 12 goals. The player also played 16 international matches with Belgium since his first participation in 2020, and was called up to the Belgian national team for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and participated in one match from the bench, before Belgium exited the group stage.
