Kuwait Defence Ministry Announces Intercepting Hostile Drones
Kuwait, July 23 (QNA) - The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defence announced that the Al-Abdali border crossing was attacked Thursday afternoon by hostile drones, resulting in material damage but no casualties.
Official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defence, Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan stated that specialized teams immediately responded to the incident and took the necessary measures to secure the site in coordination with relevant authorities. He added that the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams from the Land Forces also began surveying and securing the area, removing drone debris according to approved technical procedures to ensure the site's safety and freedom from any hazards.
Kuwaiti Army affirmed its continued commitment to performing its duties with high efficiency, maintaining constant readiness and preparedness to protect the nation's borders and safeguard its security and stability. (QNA)
