New York, April 23 (QNA) - Major US stock indices opened lower Thursday on Wall Street.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 205.2 points, or 0.41 percent, to 49,284.85.

The S&P 500 declined 19.1 points, or 0.27 percent, to 7,118.8 at the start of trading.

The Nasdaq Composite also dropped 103.8 points, or 0.42 percent, to open at 24,553.747. (QNA)
