Beirut, August 21 (QNA) - One person was killed on Thursday in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon.

Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported that the casualty occurred when an Israeli drone targeted a motorcycle in the town of Deir Seryan, southern Lebanon.

On Nov. 27 last year, a ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect, stipulating the withdrawal of the Israeli entity from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days.

The Lebanese government later agreed to extend the deadline until Feb. 18. However, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) remained in five positions and continue their violations, which have exceeded 3,000 since the ceasefire took effect. (QNA)
