Doha, April 21 (QNA) - Al Shamal SC announced the renewal of the contract of Iranian Omid Ebrahimi, the first-team player.

In a statement on its official website Monday, Al Shamal announced that it has renewed Omid Ebrahimi's contract for an additional season until the end of the 2026 season.

Al Shamal SC signed Omid Ebrahimi in June 2023 for a one-year period, before renewing the player's contract at the end of last season for an additional year.

Omid Ebrahimi performed well with Al Shamal and was one of the influential and key players on the team, relied upon by the technical staff.

Ebrahimi previously played for Al Wakrah before joining Al Shamal.

A Shamal delivered solid performances and achieved outstanding results in the Qatari league this season, finishing sixth in the league standings with 32 points, one point behind fifth-place Al Rayyan. (QNA)
