Israeli Forces Continue Artillery Attacks on Southern Lebanon
Beirut, September 20 (QNA) - The Israeli entity continued its attacks on southern Lebanon Sunday, carrying out explosions and shelling in several areas.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that Israeli forces launched artillery shelling on the outskirts of Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah toward Mayfadoun, while also targeting the town of Aita Al-Jabal in the Bint Jbeil district.
Israeli forces also carried out a series of hostile explosions in the town of Majdal Zoun, accompanied by a combing operation in the area.
In a related development, a child was injured when an unidentified object left behind by the war exploded in the town of Debaal in the Tyre district. Earlier today, Israeli forces shelled Wadi Al-Salouqi and Wadi Al-Hujeir and carried out a series of explosions since midnight in Al-Mansouri and on the outskirts of Beit Al-Sayyad.
Lebanon and the Israeli entity signed a US-brokered framework agreement on June 26, providing security arrangements that include the gradual deployment of the Lebanese army and the withdrawal of Israeli forces, alongside measures related to reconstruction and economic recovery. However, the implementation of its provisions continue to face obstacles. (QNA)
