Washington, August 02 (QNA) - Three people were killed and seven others were injured in a shooting at a fast-food restaurant in the city of Twin Falls, in the US state of Idaho, local authorities said on Sunday.

Joshua Palmer, the city's public information officer, said police found the suspected gunman's body near the restaurant.

Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks said the investigation is ongoing to determine the shooter's identity and motive. He added that investigators are continuing to interview witnesses after the shooting unfolded in a busy shopping area crowded with hundreds of shoppers.

A witness said the gunman was carrying an AR-style rifle. (QNA)
