Doha, August 02 (QNA) - The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has concluded its annual summer program for children, which attracted more than 1,100 participants aged 10 to 15 across 10 religious outreach centers nationwide.

The initiative was designed to make productive use of the summer break by promoting Islamic values, strengthening life skills, fostering Quranic understanding, and nurturing young talent as part of the ministry's broader efforts to support the holistic development of youth.

The program offered an engaging educational environment that combined learning with interactive activities, helping participants develop positive social skills and strengthen their engagement with their families and communities.

Dr. Ahmed Al Farjabi, an educational expert at the ministry, said the program aimed to make productive use of young people's time by strengthening Islamic values and developing essential life skills.

He described the initiative as part of the ministry's broader efforts to support the educational and personal development of young people.

He also commended parents for encouraging their children to participate in educational and enrichment activities, praising their role in supporting the ministry's educational objectives.

During the closing ceremony, Moaz Yousef Al Qasimi, Head of the Religious Guidance Section, honored outstanding participants and recognized partner organizations that contributed to the program's success, including Al Khor Sports Club, Al Ahli Sports Club, and the Ministry's Scholarships Department.

This year's program featured educational and skills-development activities tailored to young participants. It focused on Quranic teachings and social values, including respect for parents and elders, proper conduct in mosques, time management, positive social interaction, and the responsible use of social media.
