Beirut, October 19 (QNA) - The Israeli forces continued their assault on southern Lebanon Sunday by opening fire toward the towns of Shebaa, Kfarshouba, and Blida, field sources reported.
The sources added that Israeli drones launched sound bombs toward the towns of Blida, Marwahin, and Al Khiyam.
On Nov. 27, a ceasefire deal came into force in southern Lebanon, under which the Israeli forces were supposed to withdraw from border towns and villages in southern Lebanon within a 60-day deadline.
Thereafter, the Lebanese government agreed to extend the deadline until Feb. 18, however, the occupation army maintained its posture in five points and continues its breaches, which have exceeded 4,500 according to a statement issued by the Lebanese military a few days ago. (QNA)
