Riyadh, April 19 (QNA) - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Referees Committee has assigned international referee Mohammed Ahmed Al Shammari to officiate the match between Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan in the AFC U-17 Championship final. Youssef Arif Al Shammari will also be part of the match's refereeing team as the first assistant referee.

The match will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, April 20, at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.

The appointment of Mohammed Al Shammari and Youssef Arif Al Shammari to officiate this match is yet another milestone in Qatari refereeing's distinguished contributions to various continental competitions, reflecting the AFC's confidence in Qatari refereeing.

The teams that advanced for the quarter-finals will represent Asia in the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, joining the host nation, Qatar, in the 48-team finals. (QNA)
