Kuwait, March 18 (QNA) - Kuwait Bourse closed lower on Wednesday, with the All Share Index shedding 48.22 points, or 0.57%, to settle at 8,477.92 points.

A total of 208 million shares valued at KWD 74.8 million (roughly $228.8 million) were traded across 12,832 transactions.

The Main Market Index declined by 73.92 points, or 0.93%, to 7,890.08 points, with 60.16 million shares traded in 4,642 transactions valued at KWD 8.4 million (roughly $25.7 million).

The Premier Market Index fell by 45.16 points, or 0.50%, to 9,042.48 points, with 147.9 million shares traded in 8,190 transactions valued at KWD 66.3 million (roughly $202.8 million).

In contrast, the Main 50 Index rose by 10.09 points, or 0.12%, to 8,239.60 points, supported by trading of 53.8 million shares executed in 3,531 transactions, with a total value of KWD 7.2 million (roughly $22 million). (QNA)
