Doha Hosts 25th INTERPA Executive Board Meeting

Doha, January 18 (QNA) - Doha hosted on Thursday the 25th Executive Board Meeting of the International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA), with the participation of delegations from several member states of the association.
The Ministry of the Interior stated that the meeting, which was chaired by President of the Turkish National Police Academy and President of INTERPA, Dr. Yilmaz Colak, discussed many topics on its agenda, including a program of study visits to exchange information, best practices, international cooperation with organizations, and to enhance cooperation in the fields of training.
In this context, vice-president of the Police Academy and Director of the Police College, Lt. Col. Fahd Saeed Al Subaie, explained that the meeting allows member states to present the latest findings of training programs, exchange knowledge and information, in addition to discussing the distinguished training programs proposed by some countries in the areas of leadership qualification, crime prevention, security awareness and forensic medicine, indicating that the State of Qatar has provided programs related to civil defense and firefighting.
