Doha, April 16, (QNA) - The winners of the elections of the Central Municipal Council (CMC) in its sixth round were announced this evening. The elections witnessed a race between 85 candidates, including 5 women, in 25 electoral constituencies, among the 29 constituencies, after four constituencies were decided by acclamation.. Major General Majid Ibrahim Al-Khulaifi, Director of the Elections Administration at the Ministry of Interior, who is also Chairman of the election supervisory committee, said during a press conference held this evening that the number of citizens enrolled in the voters' tables is 27,722 voters . 

The number of voters was 13, 334 voters, or 50.1% of a total of Qatari voters taking part to elect representatives in 25 constituencies. Twenty-five constituencies were cast, while four candidates were elected by acclamation in the 7th, 22nd 23rd, 27th, 28th constituencies . The winners included two women, Sheikha Yousef Al Jafairi from the 8th constituency, and Fatima Ahmed Al Kuwari from the 9th constituency. Following are the names of the winners in the 29 constituencies, according to the results announced this evening:

He expressed his thanks to the Supervisory Committee, the Executive Committees, the Electoral Commissions, the Higher Council of the Judiciary, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Ministry of Municipality and the Environment and various media organs.
