Ankara, April 16 (QNA) - Turkish Minister of the Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced Wednesday the arrest of 89 suspected ISIS members.
Turkish authorities arrested the suspects following simultaneous security operations in 17 provinces, including Istanbul. These operations were the result of an investigation opened by the Public Prosecutor's Office, Yerlikaya posted on X platform.
ISIS has previously claimed responsibility for a number of attacks in Turkiye over the past years, resulting in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of people. (QNA)
