9th Edition of S'hail 2025 Concludes
Doha, September 14 (QNA) - The activities of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S'hail 2025) concluded Sunday in its ninth edition, which lasted for five days.
The exhibition achieved the highest public attendance in its history, reinforcing its leading regional and global position as one of the largest exhibitions and events specialized in hunting and falconry in the region and the world.
The closing day of the exhibition witnessed the honoring of members of the Supreme Organizing Committee and official sponsors in appreciation of their efforts in making the event a success.
This year's edition welcomed the participation of 202 local and international companies representing 21 countries, reflecting the growing confidence in the exhibition and the pioneering role of Katara Cultural Village Foundation in organising world-class events.
Alongside its commercial activities, the exhibition featured diverse events such as the electronic falcon auction offering rare and prized species, a series of cultural and artistic activities, scientific lectures, and fine arts workshops.
Director of Public Relations and Communication at Katara Salem Mabhkout Al Marri told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the continued success of the S'hail exhibition each year reflects its distinguished status as a global event that brings together falconry and hunting enthusiasts under one roof, pointing out that the large public turnout is a clear evidence of the level of interest the exhibition enjoys locally and internationally, and a message that underscores the deep connection to heritage and identity.
Al Marri emphasized the commitment to ensuring distinguished media coverage, encompassing various print, audio, and visual media outlets, as well as social media accounts. He also emphasized the preparation of a daily newsletter covering the exhibition's activities, highlighting the most prominent pavilions, and distributing it free of charge to visitors. He also praised the various media outlets for their essential role in this success, through their extensive coverage that highlighted the exhibition's activities and conveyed its bright image to a wide audience.
