Kuwait, March 13 (QNA) - The Kuwait National Guard announced Friday evening the downing of a drone in the country's airspace.

Brig. Gen. Dr. Jadaan Fadhel, spokesperson for the Kuwait National Guard, stated that this action is part of ongoing efforts to enhance security, protect vital sites, and confront any potential threats. He emphasized the readiness of the National Guard forces and relevant authorities to deal with any threats and to counter anything aimed at destabilizing the country's security and stability.

Earlier today, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems had detected a ballistic missile during the past 24 hours that was outside the threat zone. The Ministry confirmed it posed no danger and resulted in no damage. (QNA)
