UAE, Kuwaiti Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Developments
Abu Dhabi, May 13 (QNA) - UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah discussed regional developments in a phone call on Wednesday.
During the call, the two sides condemned the infiltration of an armed group affiliated with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) into Bubiyan Island to carry out hostile acts, resulting in the injury of a member of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces.
UAE Foreign Minister affirmed his country's full support to Kuwait in all measures taken to confront these terrorist acts, stressing that the security of the State of Kuwait is an integral part of the security of the UAE and the Arab Gulf states.
He also affirmed the UAE's full support of all measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and national achievements.
The two ministers reviewed the importance of strengthening regional and international cooperation to confront these threats and to establish sustainable security and stability in the region. (QNA)
