European Stocks Open Higher
Brussels, May 13 (QNA) - European stock markets opened trading higher on Wednesday, supported by oil prices rising above the USD 100-a-barrel level, continued inflationary pressures, and the political stalemate in West Asia.
Among the major markets, France's CAC 40 index on the Paris stock exchange rose 0.35 percent, moving above the 8,000-point level.
Germany's DAX index in Frankfurt also gained 0.83 percent, while Britain's FTSE 100 index in London rose 0.68 percent. Meanwhile, Italy's FTSE MIB index in Milan recorded an increase of 0.92 percent. (QNA)
