Kuala Lumpur, April 13 (QNA) - Qatari referees have participated in the Asian Football Confederation's (AFC) training and development programmes at its headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The participation reflects the AFC's commitment to raising the technical and refereeing standards and enhancing its presence on the continental stage.

Qatari referee Mohammed Ahmed Al Sharif participated in the third intermediate module of the AFC Referees Academy (sixth cohort), held from April 6 to 10. He underwent an intensive training programme that included theoretical and practical aspects aimed at developing his refereeing skills according to the latest approved standards.

Similarly, referee Abdulrahman Al Mulla is participating in the fourth preliminary module of the AFC Referees Academy (seventh cohort), held from April 13 to 17, as part of the continental referee preparation and development programme.

These participations come within the framework of the strategy to develop Qatari referees and support their presence in various Asian championships, reflecting the advanced position that the refereeing system in Qatar has reached.(QNA)
