QSE Index Opens Higher

Doha, April 13 (QNA) - The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose by 29.67 points, or 0.29%, at the start of trading on Sunday, reaching 10.124 points, compared to the previous close.

The QSE index was supported by gains in several sectors: Real Estate (+0.86%), Industrials (+0.66%), Telecoms (+0.30%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.32%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.21%). Meanwhile, declines were recorded the in Insurance (-0.05%) and Transportation (-0.28%) sectors.

As of 10:00 am, the QSE recorded a trading volume of 47.912 million shares, with a total value of QR 78.566 million across 3,145 transactions. (QNA)
