Doha, February 13 (QNA) - The "Balance" exhibition of artist Monika Bulanda was opened at the Katara's cultural village, building 18, on Thursday.

Attended by a range of Their Excellencies the ambassadors and those interested in the world of art and creativity, the expo shows Bulanda's traversing many countries starting from Krakow in Poland and passing through Sweden, France, China, Turkiye, and Italy, culminating in Qatar.

The exhibition showcases a prolific visual experience that prompts visitors to explore the relationship between traditions and innovation through the prism of art as a constant conversation between the past and future.

General Manager of Katara Cultural Village Foundation, Dr. Khalid Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, said that Katara inaugurates this exhibition today to showcase a superb artistic vision that reflects the profound human experience and intercultural interaction.

Dr. Al Sulaiti added that Katara has been committed to organizing diverse exhibitions, whether in terms of artistic schools or artists' experience, to be an adjunct to the domestic cultural and artistic scene and contribute to the artists' openness and capitalizing on each other's creative expertise.

Bulanda inspires her art works from rich experiences and cultural overlap.

Her creative techniques were developed in 2010, by adding a unique blend of painting, collage, and three-dimensional perspective, inspired by the spirit of multidimensional architecture in New York and her visit to the Mosaic Museum in Hatay. (QNA)
