Brussels, August 12 (QNA) - European stocks fell Wednesday from recent highs as investors assessed corporate earnings and developments in the Middle East. 
Positive US inflation data helped ease concerns over a possible US rate hike next month.
The Stoxx 600 fell 0.16 percent to 659.48 points. Germany's DAX declined 0.23 percent, France's CAC 40 dropped 0.46 percent, and the UK's FTSE 100 fell 0.1 percent. (QNA)
