Moscow, May 11 (QNA) - The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Ukrainian forces committed more than 23,000 violations of the temporary ceasefire declared by Moscow on the occasion of Victory Day.

In a statement issued today, the ministry said that the Ukrainian armed forces committed 23,802 violations of the ceasefire in areas of military operations, noting that Russian forces responded in kind to these violations.

Russian force groups in the areas of military operations continue to fully adhere to the ceasefire and remain in the positions they had previously taken, the ministry said.

Earlier today, Ukrainian authorities announced the killing of three people and the injury of five others as a result of Russian airstrikes.

Russia and Ukraine announced last Friday that they had agreed to a three‑day ceasefire, mediated by the United States, starting from May 9 to 11.(QNA)
