Emirati, Indian FMs Discuss Regional Developments
Abu Dhabi, April 11 (QNA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met on Saturday with Minister of External Affairs of India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
The two sides discussed regional developments and the blatant Iranian missile attacks that targeted the UAE and several other countries, along with their serious repercussions on the security and stability of the region and the world, on maritime security, energy supplies, and the global economy.
During the meeting, the Indian Foreign Minister reaffirmed his country's solidarity with the UAE in taking the necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and to safeguard the security of its citizens, residents, and visitors.
Both sides also went over the latest regional developments, including those related to the two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran, and the importance of boosting international efforts to establish sustainable security and peace in the region, in addition to addressing a number of issues of mutual concern.
