Makkah Al-Mukarramah, October 01 (QNA) - The Muslim World League has welcomed US President Donald Trump's plan to end the war in Gaza.

In a statement today, the League's Secretariat General also hailed the international community and key actors for their engagement and readiness to support and ensure the success of the Trump initiative.

The statement reaffirmed that saving lives, halting the war, stopping forced displacement and annexation plans, and ending the humanitarian disaster in Gaza are urgent priorities at this stage. These steps pave the way for a political process aimed at a just and comprehensive solution based on the two-state framework. (QNA)
