Qatar Chamber, Uzbek Counterpart Sign Cooperation Agreement

Doha, October 01 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber (QC) signed a cooperation agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

Vice Chairman of QC, Mohamed Bin Ahmed Twar Al Kuwari, signed for the Qatari side, while Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Uzbekistan, Davron Vakhabov, signed for the Uzbek side.

The signing of the aforementioned agreement came at the conclusion of the meeting between Al Kuwari and Vakhabov held at QC premises on Sunday.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation ties between the two chambers, along with the cooperation between the Qatari and Uzbek private sectors.

The meeting affirmed the importance of promoting trade exchange, reinforcing trade cooperation, discussing investment climate, as well as opportunities available in the two nations, in addition to fostering cooperation and partnership between Qatari stakeholders and their Uzbek counterparts.

Al Kuwari noted that Qatari investors are interested in exploring the investment opportunities available in Uzbekistan and the desire of Qatari stakeholders to invest in them, pointing out that Uzbekistan is an outstanding investment destination for Qatar.

Chairman of CCI of Uzbekistan, Davron Vakhabov, hailed the cooperation ties between the two nations, pointing out that CCI is willing to upgrade cooperation with QC to strengthen trade relations between the two nations.
