Occupied Jerusalem, October 01 (QNA) - Settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, protected by the Israeli occupation police.
According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in successive groups from the direction of the Mughrabi Gate, and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.
The Israeli occupation police deployed widely inside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and obstructed the movement of citizens in its courtyards, to facilitate the settlers storming.
The occupation authorities, coinciding with the second day of the Jewish Sukkot, imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinians coming from Jerusalem and the 1948 territories, checked their identities and detained some of them.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily violations and incursions by settlers, except for Friday and Saturday, in an attempt to impose full control over the holy mosque and divide it temporally and spatially. (QNA)
