QSE Index Opens Lower
Doha, June 01 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index dropped 44.41 points, or 0.42%, at the start of Monday's trading, down to 10,510 points compared to the previous session's closing.
The market was weighed down by declines in four sectors: Insurance (-0.37%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.25%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.55%), and Real Estate (-1.49%). On the other hand, the performance was positive for the Telecoms sector by (+1.53%) and Transportation by (+0.01%), while the Industrials sector was stable at 0.00%.
At 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded 10,414 transactions worth QR 102.729 million, distributed across 33.451 million shares. (QNA)
