Qatar Charity Takes Part in Doha Forum 2024

Doha, December 07 (QNA) - Qatar Charity, led by CEO Mr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al Kuwari , participated in the Doha Forum 2024, held under the theme "The Imperative of Innovation." The organizations participation included high-profile meetings with global leaders and international organizations, a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring industry experts, and the signing of key agreements with UN agencies, international organizations, and leading global firms. Qatar Charity also hosted an interactive booth highlighting its extensive partnerships with UN bodies and academic institutions worldwide.
During the forum, Qatar Charity formalized agreements with prominent entities, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Adam Smith International, the Middle East Council on Global Affairs, and the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies.
Notable meetings were held with Ms. Rosemary A. DiCarlo, Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (UNDPPA), Mr. Gilles Cerutti, Head of Humanitarian Diplomacy at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and HE Mr. Muhammad Ali Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare in Nigeria.
On the second day of the forum, Qatar Charity will host a panel discussion in collaboration with the Middle East Council on Global Affairs titled "Humanitarian Engagement with Non-State Armed Groups". The session will feature a distinguished panel of experts in humanitarian work, international relations, and human rights, along with representatives from various government entities worldwide.
The Qatar Charity booth at Doha Forum 2024 exemplifies the organizations unwavering commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in 41 countries across Asia, Africa, and Europe. Through its 32 field offices and collaborations with over 50 global partners, Qatar Charity continues to deliver impactful humanitarian and development programs.
The booth also highlights Qatar Charitys 130+ agreements with international and UN organizations, underscoring its strategic partnerships and operational excellence. Visitors can explore the organizations key initiatives, its global mission, and its innovative approach to addressing humanitarian and developmental challenges. (QNA)
