EBRD Provides 50 Million Euros Loan to Morocco
Rabat, December 05 (QNA) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Crédit Agricole du Maroc (CAM) Group signed Thursday a 50 million Euros loan agreement.
A statement by the EBRD said that the loan will be allocated to finance very small, small and medium-sized enterprises, 65 percent of which are located in areas affected by the earthquake that struck several Moroccan cities and regions last year.
This project is part of the EBRD's strategy in Morocco, which focuses on financing very small, small and medium-sized enterprises as a key focus.
As such, EBRD financing will contribute to creating high-quality jobs in the private sector and developing a resilient economy, thus strengthening both the private sector and the economy in general. (QNA)
