Washington, March 05 (QNA) - Instagram announced new options for the Direct Messages feature, including the ability to modify messages after sending them for up to 15 minutes.
In order to edit a message after sending it, users press and hold on the message and then choose "Edit" from the list that appears automatically. Instagram will then display a notification indicating that the message has been modified.
The platform announced on its official website that it will allow pinning up to three conversations to the top of the message box, including group messages and individual conversations. To pin conversations, users should drag the conversation to the left or press and hold on the chat and then choose "Pin".
Instagram also added a new option to disable message reading indicators in conversations. This option can be activated from the messages section in the settings, for all conversations or for specific conversations only.
Instagram also offers many new features that can be activated in each conversation individually, in addition to providing the option to save favorite stickers in direct messages to access them faster. Users can save stickers by long pressing on them. (QNA)
