Egyptian President, Eritrea Foreign Minister Discuss Developments in the Horn of Africa

Cairo, March 23 (QNA) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met today with Eritrea's Minister of Foreign Affairs Osman Saleh to discuss developments in the Horn of Africa and explore ways to enhance regional stability.

According to a statement from the Egyptian presidency, the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Somalia in its fight against armed groups and in preserving the country's unity and territorial integrity.

The meeting also addressed efforts to restore peace and stability in Sudan, as well as developments in the Red Sea region.

On bilateral relations, President El Sisi emphasized the deep-rooted ties between Egypt and Eritrea and reiterated Egypt's commitment to strengthening cooperation across all sectors. (QNA)
