Occupied Jerusalem, July 02 (QNA) - Colonists stormed Tuesday the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds), under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.
Palestinian news agency (WAFA) quoted eyewitnesses as saying that dozens of colonists entered the holy site in groups, conducted provocative tours throughout the compound, and performed Talmudic rituals.
The occupation police imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers to the mosque, and intensified the restrictions at the gates of the Old City, effectively turning the area into a military zone, as hundreds of occupation police officers were deployed at close distances, especially at the gates of Al-Aqsa.
Incursions by colonists and extremists into Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied Al-Quds have increased since the beginning of the Israeli genocide on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2023. (QNA)
