Doha, September 16 (QNA) - Here is a summary of local news released Sunday: -HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani sent on Sunday a cable of congratulations to HE President of the Republic of Costa Rica Rodrigo Chaves Robles on the anniversary of his country's Independence Day.
-HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani sent on Sunday a cable of congratulations to HE President of the Republic of El Salvador Nayib Bukele on the anniversary of his country's Independence Day.
-HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a verbal message from HE President of the Republic of Djibouti Ismail Omar Guelleh, pertaining to bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common interest.
-HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev exchanged congratulations on the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two friendly countries, which falls on September 2024.

- The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) organized a virtual workshop on government school programs and activities at various educational levels via the 'Teams' application.
-The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, represented by the School Evaluation Department of the Evaluation Affairs Sector, held an introductory meeting to launch the National School Accreditation System for public schools. The system will be implemented in public schools for the current academic year 2024-2025.
