- In their editorials issued Saturday, Qatari newspapers commended the tireless Qatari diplomatic efforts that are racing against time to stop the aggression against Gaza, reduce the escalation, and bring in urgent humanitarian aid, based on the states firm and continuous support for the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, especially his right to establish an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, on the basis of the two-state solution.
- Qatar National Bank (QNB) said in its report that few indicators convey as much information about the state of a countrys economy as the direction of currency fluctuations. This is particularly valid when it comes to deep, liquid foreign exchange (FX) markets of major currencies from advanced economies, such as the Japanese Yen (JPY), the US Dollar (USD), the Euro (EUR), the Swiss Franc (CHF) and the Pound Sterling (GBP). FX is driven by capital flows, which correspond to real time reactions to expectations about risk appetite, relative economic performance and interest rate differentials.
- Qatar's Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah strengthened his lead in the provisional general standings of the Dubai International Baja, the 7th and final round of the World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas. The rally is running for three days between November 10 and 12.
