Doha, December 01 (QNA) - Qatar University (QU)'s Admissions Department has announced the opening of applications for graduate programs for the Fall 2025 semester.
The application period will commence on Dec. 15, 2024 until March 12, 2025. All applications will be received from students who meet the required academic qualifications as outlined in the admission criteria for each program.
The Admissions Department explained that students wishing to pursue graduate studies can apply to one of the programs offered for Fall 2025.
The programs in the College of Arts and Sciences include all PhD programs along with the Masters in Arabic Language and Literature, Materials Science and Technology, and the Postgraduate Certificate in Corrosion Science.
They also include all Masters and PhD programs in the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies except for the PhD in Sunnah and Hadith Studies and the PhD in Creed and Islamic Thought.
All programs offered by the College of Education, College of Health and Medical Sciences, College of Health Sciences and the College of Pharmacy will be included.
The College of Business and Economics offers all programs except for the Master of Science in Finance.
The College of Engineering offers all programs except for the Masters in Urban Design and Planning, the Master of Science in Civil Engineering, the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, the Master of Science in Engineering Management, and the Master of Science in Gas Engineering and Processing.
All programs in the College of Law will be included but for the Postgraduate Certificate in Law programs.
The Admissions Department noted that admission to graduate programs at QU is competitive. Applicants must ensure that they meet all the specific requirements for their desired programs.
The final deadline for submitting all required official documents is May 29, 2025. Applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered.
Admission decisions will be announced by email on June 24, 2025 and the start of classes for the Fall 2025 semester will be on Aug., 24, 2025. (QNA)
