Julian Alvarez put Argentina ahead in the 13th minute, before Lionel Messi scored twice in 86th and 89th minutes for Argentina.
Messi, who also scored two goals in the 3-0 victory over Honduras in Miami last Friday, is looking to lead Argentina to win the World Cup for the third time and the first since 1986.
The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 draw placed Argentina in Group C, along with Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland. (QNA)
