California, September 25 (QNA) - Mexico defeated Peru 1-0 in a friendly match held in Pasadena as part of preparations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The only goal of the match was scored by Hirving Lozano, Napoli striker, in the 85th minute.
The Mexican team will meet its Colombian counterpart in another friendly match in California next Wednesday, in the framework of preparations for the World Cup, where Mexico will play in Group C with Argentina, Saudi Arabia and Poland.
In another match, Australia beat New Zealand 2-0, while Colombia beat Guatemala 4-1. (QNA)
