Miami, September 24 (QNA) - The Argentine national team beat the Honduran's 3-0, in the friendly confrontation that brought them together, this morning, at the stadium "Hard Rock" in the American city of Miami.
The current Paris Saint-Germain and former Barcelona star, Lionel Messi, scored two of the three goals to lead his country to a morale-boosting victory during its preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.
Lautaro Martinez scored the first goal for Argentina (16), then captain Messi added the second and third goals(45) from the penalty spot and (69).
With this victory, the Argentine national team maintained its unbeaten record for 34 consecutive matches, and will play its next friendly against Jamaica Wednesday morning.
The Argentine national team was listed by the draw of the finals of the Qatar World Cup in the third group with the national teams of Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland. (QNA)
