Doha, September 07 (QNA) - The proceedings of the Senior Officials Meeting preparatory to the 5th session of the Islamic Conference of Youth and Sports Ministers (ICYSM) were held Wednesday in Jeddah with the participation of the State of Qatar.
Advisor to HE the Minister of Sports and Youth Abdulrahman bin Musallam Al Dosari represented the State of Qatar in the meeting.
The ministerial meeting is due to be held Thursday under the chairmanship of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Held under the slogan of 'development of youths and sports to build a consolidated ummah (nation)', the conference will address the challenges facing the OIC Member States in terms of youth empowerment, as well as means to further enhance inter-organizational cooperation for the implementation of the OIC strategy concerned with the youth.
