Doha, December 02 (QNA) - The Ministry of Culture organized, as part of the "Cultural Diversity of Communities" activities held on the sidelines of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the Tunisian Community Day, which was marked by a rich program that reflects the cultural diversity that characterizes this country.
The Tunisian communitys celebration, which was hosted by the Al Sulaiti House in Al Hitmi area near the Qatar National Museum, included lyrical performances by the students of the Tunisian School in Doha, and Tunisian classical, folk, heritage and folklore arts, and a paragraph on Tunisian traditional dress in several states.
In the same context, the Ministry of Culture hosted a similar event for the Syrian community, which included a rich program that reflects the cultural diversity that characterizes Syria.
HE Charge d'Affairs at the Syrian Embassy in the State of Qatar Dr. Bilal Turkiya, expressed his thanks to the State of Qatar for what it provides to Syria and its people in various humanitarian, cultural and development fields.
He commended the efforts of the Ministry of Culture for providing this opportunity and others to show the living Syrian culture and rich heritage, especially in light of this beautiful atmosphere full of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 competitions, which reap success and praise from everyone. (QNA)
