Brasilia, December 03 (QNA) - Brazil's Football Federation announced on December 03 that striker Gabriel Jesus and defender Alex Telles will be ruled out until the end of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, after suffering an injury during a match against Cameroon at the end of the Group G competition.

The two players underwent a medical evaluation showing the pair suffered a knee injury after losing 0-1 to the Cameroonian team yesterday.

Jesus injured before the World Cup and needed a month to recover, and he will miss the remainder of the World Cup.

Alex Telles, who left the pitch on Friday in tears after a collision with a Cameroon player, might need surgery. (QNA)
