Doha, December 02 (QNA) - Switzerland national team's head coach Murat Yakin said that his team deserved to advance for the knockout round, after winning 3-2 over Serbia, today, in the last round of the group stage, pointing that Switzerland secured a spot in the last 16 in a difficult group that comprised strong teams, including Brazil who beat Switzerland 1-0.
In the post-match press conference, Yakin said that his squad achieved what they sought, adding that they would rest after the difficult victory over Serbia which cost them a lot of effort and energy, and then will think and analyze the past round.
He added that his squad prevailed in a difficult encounter against a strong team,asserting that they will strive put their best performance to continue the competition, as they are going to meet great teams. (QNA)
