Zurich, December 23 (QNA) - Brazilian player Richarlison's goal against Serbia was named the best goal of the FIFA Qatar 2022 World Cup in the FIFA International Football Federation (FIFA) vote for fans.

FIFA announced today that the Brazilian forward Richarlison has been officially decided a winner based on the vote via their official website.

The Brazilian striker scored that goal against the Serbian side by scissor kick volley against Serbia in the two sides' opening match in the in the groups stage in Qatar, which ended with the Argentine team being crowned world title.

Richarlison's goal topped all goals in the fans voting including both the Saudi Al Dawsari's goal against Argentina and the Brazilian goal of Neymar against Croatia, Dutch Cody Gakpo against Ecuador and Argentina's Enzo Fernandez against Mexico, and Cameroon's Vincent Aboubakar against Serbia, Mexico's Luis Chavez against Saudi Arabia, France's star Kylian Mbappe's goal against Poland, along with another Richarlison goal against South Korea and South Korea's Pake Seong goal against Brazil.
