Qatari Designer Tamader Al Sultan Highlights to QNA World Cup's Role in Boosting Cultural Exchange

Doha, December 22 (QNA) - Qatari fashion designer Tamader Al Sultan hailed World Cup football fans' wearing of traditional Qatari robes and headdresses and being adorned in henna tattoos as a sign of openness and cultural exchange between the peoples of the world.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Al Sultan said that Qatari traditional and heritage costumes will never disappear, adding that they flourish every time Qatari mothers and grandmothers wear them on Qatari occasions and holidays.
They also exist in the in the international fashion shows, such as those organized by the Qatar Museums' M7 and Qatar Creates, which help revive Qatari heritage, the fashion designed who participated in the Qatar Fashion United event by CR Runway said.
Held in Stadium 974, the monumental celebration of fashion, culture and music witnessed the participation of more than 150 fashion designers from 50 countries around the world, as well as a number of renowned Arab and international artists in the presence of more than 20,000 spectators. (QNA)
