Algiers, December 20 (QNA) - Algerian Minister of Youth and Sports Abderezak Sebgag praised the organizational success that he described as tremendous for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Sebgag told press that what the State of Qatar has achieved by organizing the World Cup may be equivalent to what other countries can do in fights to reach the same goal.

He added that the Algerian Ministry of Youth and Sports sent 19 employees of its sports structures to the Qatar World Cup in order to acquire experience.

Sebgag stressed that Algeria has given a clear picture of its readiness to host the most prominent sporting events after the organization of the Mediterranean Games (Oran 2022), considering that this success will push the ministry to be more careful during the organization of the African Nations Championship 2022.

Algeria will host the finals of the African Nations Championship 2022, scheduled to be held from January 13 to February 4, 2023. (QNA)
