Argentine National Team Returns to Its Country After Winning World Cup Title

Buenos Aires, December 20 (QNA) - The Argentina national football team, winner of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, returned to his country this morning from Doha, where they received thousands of fans of Argentina, Winners of the World Cup for the third time in history.

Captain Lionel Messi carried the trophy when he got off the plane, accompanied by coach Lionel Scaloni, and the Argentina national team delegation passed on a red carpet, while the band 'Rock La Musica' played the song 'The Boys', which was chanted by a large number of fans throughout the World Cup in Qatar.

A mass celebration is scheduled to take place later today, at the Obelisco Monument, where it is customary to celebrate sporting achievements.

On Tuesday, Argentina President Alberto Fernandez declared a national holiday so that everyone could celebrate the world title.

The Argentina national team was crowned the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 after winning 4/2 on penalties over its French counterpart, after they tied 3/3 in extra time of the final match, which was held yesterday, Sunday, at Lusail Stadium.
