Doha, December 02 (QNA) - Costa Rica coach Luis Fernando Suarez regretted early exit from the group stage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 after losing to Germany 2-4 in a match at Al Bayt Stadium in the final round of Group E.

In the post-match press conference, the Costa Rican coach said they faced many challenges before participating in the tournament in which they played good matches, especially in the matches against Japan and Germany.

He added that they excelled in Thursday's game at times they were ahead Germany, but they lacked concentration, they had to play better after a two-goal lead as well as play defensively, but they didn't improve that, even though the Germans played well. (QNA)
